Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick, an American actress nominated for the Academy Award, is best known as a leading role in Twilight. In Portland, Maine she started her career in High Society a Broadway show when she was a child. A Little Night Music - one of the classic Stephen Sondheim song - was performed by the New York City Opera after she was awarded a Theatre World Award. She began acting in movies after winning a Theatre World Award for her performance of the best friend of the character in Twilight. She reprised the role for the film The Twilight Saga - New Moon. She has also appeared a few times on television, in episodes of programs like Fear Itself and Comedy Bang! Bang! Anna Kendrick was also a singer. She performed Cups as a cover for the music video and soundtrack for Pitch Perfect. The track was a massive chart-topper, topping at No 6 in the US Billboard 100, and at No 2 in the US Adult Top 40.
