Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She became famous for becoming the first woman who taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 In addition, she is famous for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie as well as her parents and her siblings were born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and began working out at an early age. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances earned her the title. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 helped to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she had won consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for sporting products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs, among others.
