Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in America, is an actress. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than 20 years. Her movie career started in her early 80s when she was featured as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her role was featured in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy which followed her first success. John Hughes' film, produced by him, is one of the greatest films from high school in history. Although it was an budget of just 1 million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. When she was working on this, her debut on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was featured. The show Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She is also in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is an appearance in a small part. Sheedy, for her incredible performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
