In 2005, she started working for The Fox News Channel in general assignments. In the following years, she was promoted to anchor for Fox Report Weekend. Julie Banderas' career has seen her cover several major issues, including the hurricane Dennis along with the disappearance, and the case of Terri Schiavo. In 2004, she received an Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award to cover her coverage of the Republican National Convention. A journalist with a strong voice, she attracted international attention for her criticism of US Trump as President. Donald Trump when he made a derogatory comment about an anchor on TV.
