She played the role of Siobhan Ryan in a daytime soap-opera titled Ryan's Hope in 1982-1986 was what made her the focus of the public. Catherine Willows is her most known role in CBS's crime procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV series that ran between 2000 and 2013, as well as Immortality which was a film for television released in 2015. McCain wrote four books in addition Dad John McCain (2008), My Dad John McCain (2008), Dirty Sexy Politics (2010), America You Sexy Bitch A Love-Letter to Freedom in 2012 along with Michael Ian Black and Bad Republican 2022.
